Rental Policy

What we rent

Only books that can be reused are rented; workbooks, study guides, laboratory manuals, periodicals, and other consumable materials are not rented. Access codes/keys/cards, CDs, DVDs, workbooks, or any other type of supplemental material are not guaranteed to come with books purchased or rented. If a book you rent or buy from Stanza Textbooks arrives with a supplement, you are allowed to use it at no extra cost. At the end of the rental, all supplemental material must be returned with the book rented.

By Renting from Stanza Textbooks you understand that

1. You are entering this Textbook Rental Agreement (“Agreement”) with Stanza Textbooks of your own free will. You will return the Rented Materials to Stanza Textbooks.

2. If you fail to return the Rented Materials by Rental Return Due Date, or return them in an unsellable condition, Stanza Textbooks is authorized to charge the following “Non-return Fees” to your credit card or debit card: (1) full publisher’s list price of the textbook plus (2) a processing fee of 5% of list price). New book price is based on the new book price at time of rental. Stanza Textbooks is not responsible for reminding you of the Rental Return Date.
3. Highlighting and writing in rented textbooks is permitted and acceptable. However, Rental Materials must be returned in complete and sellable condition. This means the spine of the book is intact, there is no damage to the book (including water damage), and all component parts of the book must be present. You are responsible for any loss or theft of the Rented Materials.
   
   
4. You will not cancel or exceed the purchasing limits of the credit or debit card above until the rented textbooks are either returned to Stanza Textbooks or the Non-return Fees are paid. In the case of the credit or debit card above cannot be processed for the “Non-return Fees”, I understand that Stanza Textbooks will be using services from a collection agency, and that I will be charged an additional 67% of the “Non-return Fees.”

1. Q: When do I need to return my rental?

   A: All Fall Rentals are due by Dec 31, 2011
   All Spring Rentals are due by May 31, 2012




2. Q: How do I return my rental?

   A: Due to our different methods of renting out books, we expect them to be returned in the same manner. If you rented your book from Stanzatextbooks.com, we will send you a UPS return label through your email, that you can use by applying it onto the returned package and dropping it off at your nearest UPS drop-off box to ship us back your rental. If you rented your book from one of our store locations, we expect you to return your rental in the store that you rented your book from.
